Collection: Dipper | FUNDRAISER for MuttLove Dog Rescue
It's simple: Positive Reinforcement works.
Why? Because using Positive Reinforcement (R+) training methods:
• teach the animal what we want them to do in a clear and concise way without pain or punishment
• address the underlying emotions that affect behavior, like fear and frustration, instead of just the symptoms, like barking
• can be adjusted to fit each individual animal's (and handler's!) needs; there are multiple ways to teach a behavior rather than relying on a "one size fits all" approach
• build trust and strengthen the bond between animal and handler, creating better communication and understanding
• have been proven time and time again to be not only the safest but the most effective method of training
No, R+ doesn't mean that your dog will only listen for food. It doesn't mean that your dog won't have boundaries and can do whatever they want. It doesn't make a handler "weak" or leave them unable to "control" their dog. It's time to say goodbye to outdated "training" methods that rely on pain and punishment that suppress, rather than modify, behavior.
We're thrilled to partner with our friends at Comfort the Dog for this limited-edition design benefitting MuttLove Dog Rescue.
Comfort the Dog believes in kind and accessible training for every pet parent regardless of their background, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability; that all people deserve compassion and understanding during their struggles, not judgement or disdain; and that every dog deserves to have their body language heard and respected. They have a special interest in helping people transition from outdated training methods to force-free, R+ training and offer affordable, easily accessible services, including 'Support the Human,' an online community with valuable resources, classes, and one-on-one support.
MuttLove Dog Rescue provides awareness and togetherness in the community by saving dogs and cats from euthanasia, abuse, neglect, and breeding. They strive to educate the community on the importance of vaccinating pets to help decrease incidences of deadly diseases like distemper and parvo.
20% of sales from this limited-edition collection will be donated to MuttLove Dog Rescue. Available through April 10.
