Collection: Nemo & Squirt | FUNDRAISER for The KG Foundation

Just keep swimming.

Squirt, Nemo, their mama Dory, and the rest of their siblings (yes, they're all named after Finding Nemo characters!) were rescued from a high-risk shelter that doesn't have the resources to care for a new family - especially when two of the puppies have special needs.

Nemo was born with just three legs. Thankfully, like many tripod dogs, this doesn't seem to hold her back - she is a rockstar and keeps up with the rest of her siblings without issue! Poor Squirt, on the other hand, has already had a difficult journey in his short life.

Squirt takes "runt" to a new level, barely one third of the size of the rest of his siblings. Once in foster care, it became clear that he was struggling to latch and nurse on his own, and his foster began to bottle feed him. Squirt appears to have Hydrocephalus, a condition in which fluid builds on the brain, is at least partially blind with ulcers on his eyes, and is being closely monitored for additional health concerns. Despite it all, he is a sassy little guy who brings so much joy to his foster family.

The KG Foundation, along with Misfit Angels Rescue, have committed to ensuring that this little family receives the care that they need to thrive, whatever it takes.

The KG Foundation honors Kristopher Gorlitz and all of the beautiful light he brought to this world. Their hope is to spread love and light to those who need it most, and to inspire kindness and gratitude by giving back in as many ways as possible.
